Prapanj Ganeshan Radhamony was arrested in July of 2008 for solicitation of a child by computer and distribution of obscene materials. He had spoken to the decoy, a PeeJ contributor posing as a 13 year old girl, intermittently over 7 months before he was arrested. Upon arrest, he confessed to everything he had spoken about to the decoy and to his illegal intentions. To what was surely his dismay, his case was taken over by federal authorities, and though their reason for picking it up is unknown, it is possibly due to the fact that he was here on a student visa from India.

Shortly after federal prosecutors took on the case, Radhamony became a fugitive, presumably to avoid the tough sentences that federal courts often give.

If you know of his location, please do not contact him, harass him or his family, or do anything that could put yourself or anyone else at risk. It is most likely that he returned to India, but if you are sure of his location within the United States, contact the US Attorney's Office in Birmingham, Alabama with the information.
