Egg-Throwing Leads To Sex Charges.

3/1/2010

BLUE ASH, Ohio -- A Colerain Township man is facing charges for allegedly having a sexual relationship with a teenage boy he met on the Internet last year.

Michael Ives, 29, is charged with two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and two counts of contributing to the unruliness/delinquency of a child. Blue Ash police say Ives and the 15-year-old boy met in November 2009 and a consensual relationship ensued.

Police came across the case around 8:10 p.m. Sunday when officers responded to a report of someone throwing eggs in front of a residence in the 9000 block of Bluewing Terrace in Blue Ash.

Officers found Ives and the boy inside a car parked on the wrong side of the street. According to police, there were egg cartons, egg shells and beer inside the vehicle.

The two were taken to the Blue Ash police station where they admitted to throwing eggs and the sexual relationship.

A judge set Ives' bond at $50,000 on Monday.
